Rachael is a yoga teacher, facilitator, and program designer. She has over 15 years of experience in Australia and UK.
Motivated by personal experience with persistent pain, Rachael left an engineering career to immerse in London’s social enterprise sector – and ended up running away to the circus.
She completed a University Diploma in Yogic Education at the University of Lille, France, which was the start of her work in specialist yoga design.
In 2015 Rachael established social enterprise Yoga for Pain Care Australia, with a now national training program for health professionals and yoga teachers. She has been invited to speak at TEDx Bunbury, the International Society for Pain annual conference, and a range of institutions about her work in yoga and chronic pain.
Rachael started practicing yoga in 1996 and is registered as a Level 2 Yoga Australia teacher.
Theresa is Finding Yoga’s program assistant and researcher. She brings a background in anthropology and training as a yoga teacher, yoga therapist and Shiatsu massage therapist to the role.
Theresa has practiced yoga for more than 20 years and has been teaching since 2011 with Cancer Council WA, Multiple Sclerosis Society of WA, King Edward Memorial Hospital and Bloom Yoga Room.
She also teaches yoga to teenage girls at Standing Strong, a wellness club for girls that aims to build confidence, self-esteem and resilience.
Theresa works privately as a rehabilitation assistant.
