Yoga for Carers is available to organisations supporting people who care for loved ones. Our short video explains how we developed the program and how it impacted lives.
Thrive Support Group for Carers asked us to work with them to create a special Yoga for Carers program.
Outcomes of the 8-week program were that carers were more relaxed, focussed and healthier.
They reported that they felt better equipped to make time to care for their own health while caring for a loved one, and felt they could be even better carers.
Thanks to Lotterywest and NDS for funding, and to Disabilities Services Commission and the volunteer team for in-kind support to develop Yoga for Carers.
