25 Feb Yoga podcast #3: guided relaxation
In February I was invited to give a presentation for the Pain Explained Lecture Series. My talk, From Fibromyalgia to the Circus: learning what my body wants blends storytelling, guided relaxation and discussion to help re-discover wellness.
This is a recording of one of the guided relaxations I gave.
Find a quiet place, where you can lie down comfortably for about ten minutes. The legs are either long along the floor or bent at the knees with feet flat on the floor. Arms next to the body with palms up, or gently resting on the belly. Make gentle adjustments to find the most comfortable position for your body.
And then press play.
Allow ten minutes. Once you are done, take the time to wake up, gently. Repeat as often as desired.
